Explore distant places Long distance tourer, rugged commuter or just for day rides, a Ridgeback World series bike offers a cycling experience steeped in history but with the benefit of contemporary technology. Built to exacting specifications, frames are constructed to a size specific geometry in a wide range of seat tube lengths to ensure stability and sure handling, even when fully loaded. Hand welded using Reynolds steel tubing or 6061 aluminium; a World series Ridgeback provides a responsive, comfortable ride with the structural reliability essential for a traditional expedition bike. Designed for long periods in the saddle in remote locations, World series bikes are sensibly specified. A square taper bottom bracket allows replacement with a simple readily available cup and axle unit, whilst brazed down tube cable stops mean traditional gear levers can be used if required. All models are supplied with a sturdy four point aluminium rack and all but the Tour are fitted with a frame fit pump.
With a lightweight aluminium frame, reliable Shimano drivetrain, full length mudguards and rear panier rack as standard the Tour come ready to explore out the box.
Capable of taking a front and rear pannier rack and comes with its Shimano drive and cable disc brakes.
Full Shimano drive, cable disc brakes, full length mudguards, panier racks and bottle cages.
